Dog Friendly Easter Egg Hunts & Trails

Let me know if you know of any other dog-friendly Easter Egg Hunts and Trails and I will add them to this post.

Raby Castle Deer Park

An Easter Trail is included with a Deer Park ticket at Raby Castle for visits between 9-24 April. Dogs are welcome to join you on leads (be aware of livestock) and are welcome in the Yurt Tea Room and covered outdoor seating areas of the Stables Cafe too.  Find out more and book your tickets here.

Bamburgh Castle `

Hope the Dragon's Easter Trail takes place in the grounds of Bamburgh Castle (where dogs are welcome) across the holidays. Purchase an activity book on arrival and follow the clues to uncover the special word. Once complete, return to the tack room where you can collect an Easter nest or cupcake. Dogs are welcome in the castle grounds and tack room. Find out more here.

High Force Easter Egg Hunt

Follow the Easter Egg Trail down to the waterfall. The Easter Bunny has lost eight Easter Eggs along the way. Can you find them all? The walk is dog friendly and dogs are welcome to join you in the High Force Hotel for a spot of lunch or drinks afterwards too. Find out more here.

Land of Oak and Iron

An Easter Egg Trail will run around the grounds of the Land of Oak and Iron Heritage Centre (which is dog friendly inside and out) across the holidays. Available on a pay as you feel basis (suggested donation £3). You will receive a crafty prize for completing the trail and dogs are welcome to join you at the cafe afterwards too (inside and out).
