Walking to Sycamore Gap with Dogs - Easy Route

5 Dog Friendly Festivals in North East England

This post will share some of the festivals you can bring your dog along to in North East England this year. Of course, some dogs will love festivals but others will not appreciate the crowds / noise. Not everyone will want to / be able to take their dogs to festivals but for those who can and would like to, this post is for you.

Always check with festival websites / social media for the most up-to-date information when booking and making plans rather than relying on the information shared in this post.

I'm not going to preach to you all - I am sure everyone here is a responsible dog owner and will pick up after their dog / won't put their dog under unneccessary stress. You don't need me to tell you this.  But please also remember that we can't predict the weather and when the day comes, it may be too hot for dogs to be outdoors so I would recommend having a back up plan in place.

Tickets are a steal and available from just £5 per person (early bird) including up to three under 12s free (make sure you select this option). You can buy tickets here.

Dogs are welcome on a non-extendable lead.

Expect a parade, live music, market stalls, family area, fun fair, health zone and more. Find out more here.

Lindisfarne Festival is an adults-only festival on Beal Farm near Holy Island in Northumberland. Back for its 7th year, you can expect escapism, 8 stages, live music, entertainment, street food and more.

Dogs are welcome at the festival but must be kept on a short lead and are not permitted in the indoor music marquees. You do need to buy your dog a ticket for this one (they're £10).
