This year, your dog can visit Santa Claus at a special dog-friendly session at Dobbies Garden Centre, Morpeth.

Tickets are £6.99 per dog and include a special treat for your furry friend to take away. Santa has a range of dog toys available suitable for different dog sizes. 


This year, you can also make it a family experience and add a child ticket onto your booking (you select an age appropriate toy/gift when booking. Children's tickets are available for an additional £11.99.

Dobbies Morpeth is easy to get to via car and located just off the A1. It is a large Garden Centre with a large free car park. You can check their address, facilities and opening hours here. 








Nearby, you can enjoy a dog walk at Plessey Woods  or visit the dog-friendly area of The Shoulder of Mutton Pub which is just along the road.

Dogs are welcomed at all Dobbies stores.

Do you love to bring your dog with you everywhere you go? If you need a new lawnmower and you’ve brought the dog to help you choose, Dobbies doors are wide open.

We are totally dog-friendly – no breed discrimination. Just keep your dog on the leash.

To ensure a visit to our stores is enjoyable for you, your canine companion and other customers please look at the guidance below before you bring your pup along:

  • Well behaved dogs are permitted in-store, in all outside seating areas and in the Dog Friendly area of the restaurant.
  • Dog Friendly areas are accessed though the route specified in-store.
  • Dogs are not permitted in the Foodhall or children's play areas.
  • Recognised Assistance Dogs are permitted to accompany their owners in all areas.
  • Dogs are not allowed in any trolley and must be kept on a lead at all times.
  • Fresh drinking water is supplied at all times at a dedicated Dog Drinking Station.
  • Please clean up after your dog – it is the owner’s responsibility. We do sell a range of poop bags if you forget yours (including a lavender scented one!).
  • Please ask a member of staff in-store if you need any more information.



Here is some essential info: 

  • Make your way to Santa Paws in the pet department of your chosen store and quote your booking reference either printed or electronically to a team member.
  • Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of your event.
  • No entrance will be granted if you arrive earlier than your allotted time.
  • This event is available for dogs.
  • Dogs should be accompanied by a maximum of 2 adults due to space restrictions in and around the area.
  • Should you wish any additional assistance, please speak to a colleague in-store.
  • Feel free to take photos in and around the area
